SMOKE-FREE BEACH (Smoking is not allowed)

Location and characteristics:

Located to the south of the city, this sandy beach features an extensive promenade that directly connects with the rocky coves of Les Rotes. It is an ideal environment for walking and discovering the coast.

* Length: approximately 1,200 meters.

* Type: fine sandy beach.

Environmental commitment:

There will be no service for the removal of POSIDONIA to conserve the seagrass meadows, contributing to the preservation of the local ecosystem and the protection of biodiversity in the Valencian Community.

Services (mid and high season):

- Surveillance and lifeguarding:

* From June 1 to September 30, and on weekends and holidays until October 12.

* Hours: June, September, and October from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM; July and August from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

* Lifeguard station and elevated surveillance chairs.

* Parking spaces for people with disabilities.

- Accessible pathways to the beach.

- Marking service: From June 1 to September 15, all beaches in Dénia have a marking line parallel to the coast to ensure the safety of bathers.

- Marked entry and exit channel for boats next to the breakwater.

- Public restrooms: 2 points

* next to the lifeguard and rescue hut,

* C/ del Rascló, at the beach bar.

- Beach bar with rental of loungers and umbrellas on C/ del Rascló, open from May 1 to October 30.

- Beach library: From June 15 to September 30, Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

It is an outdoor space where you can consult daily newspapers and magazines. It also has a book lending service. The collection includes a wide variety of novels and children's and youth literature in several languages (Spanish, Valencian, English, French, German).

To access the book lending service, it is only necessary to present an ID. The consultation of the press is done exclusively on-site.

- Healthy games: Near the beach library, in a pleasant pine grove, you will find a healthy games area equipped with outdoor exercise machines, ideal for all ages.

- Other facilities:

Washbasins and differentiated trash bins, facilitating waste separation and promoting care for the environment.

- Surveillance of the Cova Tallada: 1 person from June 15 to October 15.

Accessible beach:

The beach has an area adapted for people with physical, visual, auditory, and intellectual functional diversity, with services for shade, decking, walkways, and assisted bathing, ensuring users' enjoyment:

* Operation during the summer months, July and August, from 11 AM to 3 PM.

* Limited capacity with prior appointment by phone: +34 670 79 09 39.

* No reservations can be made more than three days in advance. Only if it is a group of more than five people, a reservation must be made one week in advance.

* Shade, decking, and walkways.

* Adapted bathroom: protocol.

* Parking: There is parking for people with reduced mobility in front of the lifeguard station (internal branch of the Dénia to Xàbia road in front of the beach)

Sports on the beach:

From July 1 to August 31, participate in the sports activities organized on the Marineta Cassiana and Punta Raset beaches.
